A few weeks ago, our team went to Kansai, Japan to finalize the launching of a global web app for a Fortune 500 giant in the automotive industry. Every time our team goes abroad, we always marvel at how people in developed nations live with dignity and efficiency. And every time we come home, we always ask why can’t the Philippines be one of them? Why can’t the Philippines break the chains of poverty and become a wealthy nation alongside its global peers?

History has shown us that developing technology is the best antidote to poverty. Singapore, Japan, South Korea and many other neighboring developed nations all followed the path of creating world-class technology to develop their own economies.

In a nation where the primary export is not goods and services but people in the form of OFWs, we also need to build our own technology as a nation so we can take a definite and concrete path to prosperity.

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Attend to client’s project related concerns via emails, SMS, phone calls and other channels
• Assess project scope, goals, issues, problems etc to be able to track, manage and resolve conflicts and/or bottlenecks
• Escalate critical, urgent and important updates to Team Leader/Management if needed
• Ensure project tracker is updated and send relevant information and progress reports for the project that the Production Committee are working on
• Plan and forecast project timelines, tasks and milestones to be achieved in the upcoming weeks

Basic Requirements

• Education—doesn’t matter, what you know is proven by what you can do
• Knowledge in Software Development and Life Cycle
• Knowledge on the following: web design and development, web app architecture, mobile app architecture, e-commerce/marketplace/gift registry/online booking architecture, server architecture, Internet of Things (IoT), and B2B and B2C software systems
• Ability to fully comprehend and strictly adhere to the project briefing and scope
• Ability to properly orient client about the technicalities, complexities, processes related to the project
• Must be knowledgeable and updated on the latest web, mobile app, Internet of Things (IoT) and business trends, innovations, and techniques
• Must have advance skills to properly create flows and understand client business processes for technical projects, especially e-commerce, mobile apps, and software systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
