Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Janitor to join our team and oversee janitorial operations in both commercial and medical office building settings. If you are dedicated, organized, and passionate about maintaining clean and inviting spaces, we invite you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the janitorial staff in both commercial and medical office settings.
- Ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to high standards and in a timely manner.
- Training new janitorial staff members, including proper use of cleaning equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Performing regular inspections of assigned areas to maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborating with management to develop and implement cleaning schedules and plans.
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Handling minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues.
- Communicating effectively with clients, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Assisting with performance evaluations and providing feedback to janitorial staff.
- Maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
- Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or the Advanced, Inc team.
Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and guide a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to address and prevent potential hazards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience working in medical office settings preferred but not required.
