Janitorial Worker Part Time

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
• Assist with residential painting and touch-ups as needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
• Handle commercial cleaning duties including industrial cleaning tasks in various settings.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Follow safety protocols while performing custodial duties to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial services or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is advantageous.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance tasks will be beneficial for this role.
• A strong commitment to cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene are essential for success in this position.

Pay: $11.36 - $12.04 per hour
