Jewelry & Watches Product Merchandising Analyst
Bulgari SPA, within its Global Merchandising Department based in Rome , is searching for a Jewelry & Watches Product Merchandising Analyst .
This opportunity invites the candidate to be at the forefront of our product strategy, contributing with in-depth analyses to pivotal decisions on its lifecycle. As a key player in our team, the candidate will support the Sales division by analyzing sales performance and crafting impactful guidelines for product distribution, ensuring our exquisite collections reach their full potential in the market.
Main Accountabilities
Portfolio, Merchandising & VM Guidelines:
- Oversee the Portfolio and Merchandising guidelines booklets, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Propose improvements to enhance the readability and effectiveness of the Guidelines
- Conduct simulations of future assortments to identify constraints for the drafting of Merchandising Guidelines. Assign Product Merchandising Types and determine maximum values for each Basket
- Collaborate on developing the Visual Merchandising Guidelines brief for Jewelry & Watches
Product Database Management:
- Maintain and update the Product database, serving as the main pillar of merchandising booklets and analyses
- Coordinate with Business Units’ Product Managers for the launch of new products and management of existing product life cycles
- Liaise with other Sales teams to define the third parties’ assortments
- Manage and update documents provided to Local Merchandisers, including Merchandising Guidelines, Phase out & Classification changes list, and Novelties booklet
Sales Performance Analysis:
- Assist the Manager in analyzing and reporting on the sales performance of the product assortment
Profile
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics or Engineering
- 2/3 years of experience in roles requiring strong analytical skills, with experience in database management, data cleaning, and number crunching (preferably within consultancy firms)
- Data analysis, reporting and presentation skills
- MS Office suite (advanced Excel and Power Point)
- Good command of Power BI
- Fluency in Italian and English
