Reporting to the General Manager, the Journey Program Manager will lead the health and wellness and provide care support and services.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, with occasional weekends

What you’ll be doing:
You will be a welcomed member of the Aspira Management team and impact in the following ways:
- Manage daily operations to ensure services, including financial efficiency, are aligned with the quality of care and life for residents
- Practice person-centered care by engaging with residents through eye contact and personalized conversations, showcasing an understanding of their individual needs and preferences
- Promote dignity and respect in communication by using person-centered language and correcting inappropriate language use in a respectful manner
- Engage the team in decision-making processes, valuing their feedback, concerns, and suggestions for innovative approaches to enhance residents' quality of life
- Ensure the integration of care and services reflects the residents' preferences, values, lifestyle choices, and needs, focusing on person-centered care
- Assess residents' stages of dementia, conducting cognitive and physical evaluations to consult on care planning, behavioral interventions, and therapy for daily living activities
- Create a tailored engagement calendar for residents, featuring activities designed to reduce agitation, improve mood, and enhance life quality. This includes maintaining a safe and supportive environment that fosters independence, good nutrition, physical activity, meaningful roles, and social engagement, with subtle environmental supports
- Support the health and happiness of seniors through fitness based offerings
- Establish and oversee a quality committee dedicated to upholding the journey care program's standards, evaluating its effectiveness based on 7 core elements and 10 quality standards
Who you are:
- You are recognized for your superior supervisory or management skills, indicating your ability to lead and inspire teams effectively
- Initiative and good judgment are part of your core, along with the capacity to cultivate a positive work environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, your strong computer skills support your daily operations and communication
- Your analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are top-notch, enabling you to navigate complex situations with ease
- Capable of working well in a team or independently, you thrive even under stressful conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability
- Exceptional at time management, you efficiently juggle multiple priorities, ensuring goals are met with precision and grace
- Certified to teach group fitness to seniors through a reputable organization as approved by Sienna and/or willing to obtain within the first 60 days post hire
