Juicer/Barista

We are seeking a Juicer/Barista with high energy and exceptional customer service to join our team at Sweetcanes Sugarcane Juicery. Inspired to provide a drink that is not only delicious but nutritional at the same time, SWEETCANES Sugarcane Juicery is a juicery that specializes in freshly pressed sugarcane harmoniously blended with natural fruits. Each drink is 100% natural, crafted from the freshest ingredients, and free from added sugars and preservatives.

You’ll be a pivotal member to Sweetcanes' growth and expansion, and get the chance to gain skills in leadership, business operations, marketing, and partnerships. To start, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining juicing machine to produce high-quality sugarcane juices as well as occasionally providing customer service at the front register! The ideal candidate should have a attention to detail, a passion for service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate the sugarcane presser efficiently and safely. Understanding the controls, starting and stopping the machinery, and ensuring it runs smoothly throughout the pressing process while also occasionally bagging the leftover yield.
• Feed sugarcane stalks into the presser's feeding mechanism continuously and transporting the fresh juice to the lead baristas to make the drinks
• Defrost sugarcane stalks using our defrosting machine
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning & loading/ off-loading booth set-up
• Call out completed orders and hand them off to customers
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the counter, pick-up areas and juice area.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to answer customer questions
• Sample drinks to customers
• Maintain inventory levels on the food counter and restock when needed
• Job responsibilities can change according to the operational needs of the business.

Requirements:

• Friendly and energetic can-do attitude
• Prior customer service experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to unload and load supplies from the van, can lift/carry 40lbs
• Looking for someone that can work proactively and take initiative
