Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant – Property Management to support our financial operations related to real estate. This role is perfect for individuals eager to gain experience in accounting while working in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording financial transactions, including rent collections and vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Process invoices and maintain records of payments.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor transactions.
• Support the preparation of financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
• Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) for tracking and reporting.
• Track and record property-related expenses for budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and maintain proper documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Yardi/AppFolio is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous internship or experience in accounting/property management is a plus but not required.
