Job Summary
First Tee -Colorado Rocky Mountain’s Junior Coach Program was created for young adults to help model and teach the nine core values to younger participants as well as give them job skills. The program allows a better ratio of instructors to participants so all of the participants are getting the most out of classes. The Junior Coach program is also a chance for students to continue to develop their own life skills and prepare them for their next step in life.
Responsibilities
- Supervising children
- Working in large groups and one on one with children
- Ensuring children’s safety
- Communicating with parents, supervisors, and teachers
- Organizing activities
- Engaging the children in fun and educational activities while teaching them the fundamentals of the game of golf
- Reinforcing and demonstrating the Life Skills and Nine Core Values
Experience
- Must be between 14 and 8 years old
- Ability and eagerness to work with children
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Golf Experience is not required
- Strong Communication Skills
- Knowledge of The Nine Core Values
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.81 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- Weekends only
