Junior Legal Counsel (In-House)

Job Summary:

As part of our legal team, you will report to the Group Legal Counsel and will play a key role in providing legal support across various aspects of our global operations. This position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Your key responsibilities include:

· Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on case law, regulations, and legal precedents.

· Drafting and Reviewing Documents : Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements, templates and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

· GDPR & Compliance : Support with compliance efforts to ensure adherence to GDPR and other data protection regulations.

· Playbook Management : Assist in updating and managing legal playbooks.

· Advisory : Support with legal guidance various departments in collaboration with your manager.

· Contract Management: Oversee the contract lifecycle, including tracking status, renewals, and database maintenance.

· Policy Development : Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies to mitigate legal risks.

· Training and Education : Assist in providing training and legal education to employees on company policies and compliance.

· Administrative Support : Perform various administrative tasks to support the legal department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining legal templates and correspondence.

R equirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience, either in-house or at a law firm
• Experience in legal drafting and negotiation
• Knowledge of GDPR and governance
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Svensk Juristexamen (Swedish law degree, LLM)
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English ( including Legal English)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good to have:

• Experience with International legal matters
• Familiarity with cross-border transactions
• Understanding of international trade laws and regulations
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Experience working with tech-related industries
