Junior Procurement Analyst, Contract
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, proven Junior Procurement Analyst to join our Team.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in standardizing purchased items across all Business Units.
- Cross reference commodities for each location within the ERP system and support physical validation where required.
- Support the cleaning and standardization of item attributes including Part Class, Purchasing or Manufacturing designation, lead times, and Min or Max levels.
- Prepare and update DMT spreadsheets for data uploads into Epicor.
- Help maintain and support the new Purchase Part system.
- Assist with updating supplier listings, pricing, and approved supplier information.
- Communicate with national suppliers to gather required information and documentation.
Process Documentation
- Support the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures for the Purchasing group.
- Assist in identifying process gaps and opportunities for improved consistency across Business Units.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and update business reports across Business Units as required.
- Use Excel to organize and analyze purchasing data.
- Support leadership with accurate, timely reporting to inform decision making.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a purchasing, supply chain, finance, or analytical support role is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is preferred. Experience with Epicor is an asset.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis functions.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a project environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills when working with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
