Kennel Technician

We are looking for full and part time Kennel Technicians at Sidlehill Farms. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement. We are a mid-sized kennel that caters exclusively to dogs. We currently offer boarding, grooming, and daycare services.

The ideal candidate for this position will desire to be part of a team that is effective and efficient, will have excellent communication skills, will be warm, personable, and compassionate to animals and customers alike, be hard working, posses the ability to multitask, and be reliable and emotionally stable. This is a fast pace environment with non-stop duties involved. Some weekends and holidays will be required.

Applicant must have weekday morning availability.

Position involves feeding, medicating, bathing, taking dogs outside, kennel cleaning and upkeep, and checking dogs in and out. No experience is necessary, but demonstration of some knowledge of handling and caring for dogs is helpful.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
