Kennel Technician

Camden Veterinary Hospital is seeking a FULL TIME Kennel Technician to join our growing practice. You would be responsible for a variety of tasks to include patient care and treatment and assisting our veterinarians in surgery. We are looking for a caring, self-starter, who is both client and patient focused and who works well in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Degree
• No Criminal History
• Reliable Transportation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Basic care of patients
• Disinfecting, stocking, and organizing kennel
• Assisting surgery technician as needed
• Monitoring of surgical patients
• Administering of medications and treatments to patients
• Restraining patients
• Assisting doctors with treatments, procedures, and surgeries
• Filling prescription medications
• Creating, monitoring, and completing patient charts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
