Merchant 1948 is a New Zealand Family owned and operated footwear retailer who has been around since, you guessed it, 1948. We are a household name and a trusted source of premium leather footwear for all occasions.

The role

Based in our Invercargil store and reporting to the Store Manager you will be responsible for:

• Creating great customer experiences

• Working towards and achieving individual sales targets

• Ensuring the store is tidy and presentable

• Maintaining visual merchandising standards in store

• Working as part of a team and contributing to a positive team culture

• Holding a key to the store with the added responsibility of opening and/or closing and running shifts when required.
• This is a fixed-term maternity cover role through until June 2026.

• Must be available to work Monday 10:00am - 6:00pm, Tuesday 12:00pm - 4:00pm, Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday 11:00 - 4:30pm, 24 hours per week
