Kitchen Assistant

Number 8 Wire Cafe & Restaurant is a busy, quality-focused dining destination offering breakfast, lunch and dinner service. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our chefs and help maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment.

About the Role

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment and storage spaces
• Wash dishes, utensils and cooking equipment efficiently
• Support stock rotation and basic kitchen organisation
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Help ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Who We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit for kitchen duties
• Team player with good communication skills
