We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and move kitchen supplies and ingredients to designated storage areas in a timely manner
Conduct quality control checks on all incoming food deliveries to ensure items meet freshness, quantity, and quality standards
Properly pack, label, and store ingredients in storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers according to storage guidelines
Ensure correct stock rotation practices (e.g. FIFO) to minimise wastage and maintain food safety
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, storerooms, and refrigeration units
Use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with safety procedures
Adhere strictly to hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards at all times
Carry out any other duties or tasks assigned by the kitchen management team as required

Job Requirements

Prior experience in a kitchen is an advantage but not required
Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
