Kitchen Porter (Dublin 8)

Nancy Hands, bar and restaurant near Phoenix park, is now hiring a Kitchen Porter on a full-time basis.

Shifts are mainly Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, some additional weekend work may be needed during peak season.

This position won't suit anyone in daytime education, as hours may be extended depending on the business level.

Kitchen porter responsibilities include being responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchenware and crockery, managing and upkeeping the wash-up area, organization and cleanliness and liaising with the head chef and general manager on cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

· Operate the dishwasher, ensure all kitchenware and crockery are washed properly.

· Maintain a clean and organised the wash-up area.

· Help with closing cleaning procedures of the kitchen.

· Keep outdoor recycling and waste area in order.

· Ensure stockrooms and refrigeration are clean and organised.

· Follow all relevant health department regulations.

· Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

· Work as a part of the team as well as on own initiative.

Must be legally permitted to work full-time in Ireland.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
