Urbanity coffee - daytime dining and coffee roastery in Smithfield, Dublin 7.

We are looking for a part-time kitchen porter to assist with the running of a small, but very busy kitchen. We are looking for individuals with Experience as a Kitchen Porter in another kitchen/restaurant or hotel. 16-24hrs per week. Weekday & Weekend shifts available.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen
• Collecting and washing of cutlery & equipment
• Complying with all daily/weekly/monthly HACCP procedures and duties
• Unloading deliveries
• Maintaining an organised store room & bin room
• Ensuring all surfaces are sanitised
• Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation
• Ensuring the environment is safe and secure for customers, staff and visitors
• Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised

The ideal candidate:

• Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role
• Previous experience in a similar role, with 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment
• Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement
• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential
• HACCP training would be advantageous

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
