Short term position with Green Ideas

Approx. Nov 18th - Dec 13th, weather permitting

Green Ideas Landscaping Design LTD is a design-build landscaping company providing high-end residential landscaping services throughout the HRM. For over 20 years GILD has been a premier landscaping choice for softscaping, hardscaping, construction and maintenance.

You’ll be:

• Assisting with fall clean ups and hardscaping installations
• Working approx. 30-35 hrs / week, Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
• Operating now - December 13th/end of season (no snow removal)
• Representing GILD in a professional and respectful manner at all times to clients, vendors and employees
• Moving heavy materials and tools
• Operating power tools and equipment
• Ensuring safety and quality control for all aspects of a project
• Performing related duties, as assigned
• Meeting at job site/central pick up location

Are you a candidate?

You are physically fit, enjoy working in the great outdoors, and are motivated to do a good job! Your role will involve hands-on physical labour, taking instruction from a supervisor, heavy lifting, handling Nova Scotia’s wild weather, and being a reliable part of the GILD team. Experience is an asset, and excitement for learning is a must have.

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
