Lead Videographer + Quality Control Lead
Location: Denver Metro Area + Surrounding Areas
Type: Part Time (15–25 Hours Per Week) with Path to Full Time
Compensation: $25–$32 Per Hour
ABOUT GRANITE CONTENT
Granite Content helps local businesses turn their expertise, projects, people, and day to day work into high quality social media content that builds trust, generates leads, and grows their business.
We work with contractors, service businesses, local brands, sports organizations, real estate professionals, restaurants, and business owners who are great at what they do but struggle to consistently create content.
We are looking for a Content Production & Operations Coordinator who can help remove operational bottlenecks from the business, keep content moving through production, and help us deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.
This is not just a camera operator position.
This is not an editing position.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both the creative and organizational side of content production and wants to become a key part of a growing company.
The right person will help shoots run smoother, keep projects organized, support clients on camera, improve delivery flow, and eventually take ownership of larger production responsibilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Help prepare shoot plans, interview questions, shot lists, content ideas, and production briefs
- Attend local shoots and assist with cameras, lighting, audio, gear setup, and client support
- Help clients feel comfortable and confident on camera
- Capture B roll, behind the scenes content, social media clips, and supporting footage
- Organize, label, upload, and manage footage after shoots
- Prepare clear editor handoffs with notes, context, deliverables, client preferences, and expectations
- Perform quality control reviews before content is delivered to clients
Review videos for:
- Audio quality
- Caption accuracy
- Brand consistency
- Formatting
- Pacing and flow
- Client specific requirements
- Help prepare content for review and publishing workflows
- Track project status throughout production
- Communicate with editors, virtual assistants, and internal team members to ensure projects stay on track
- Help improve systems, checklists, templates, and workflows as the company grows
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to help organize information, brainstorm ideas, create briefs, and improve efficiency

- Shoots run smoothly and professionally
- Editors receive organized footage and clear instructions
- Clients feel supported throughout the process
- Projects move through production without bottlenecks
- Quality control issues are caught before delivery
- The owner spends less time managing details and more time growing the business
WHO YOU ARE
- Highly organized and detail oriented

- Comfortable around cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and content production environments
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
- Interested in growing with a company long term
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
- Open to using AI tools to improve productivity
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
- 1–3+ years of experience in content production, videography, marketing, creative operations, project coordination, or related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once
- Good communicator with clients and team members
- Understands short form content and social media platforms
- Able to work independently and follow through on commitments
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Denver metro area
- Strong internet connection and basic technical skills
