As a Lecturer in English at the University of Melbourne, you'll take the lead in coordinating ENGL 20022: Modernism and Avant Garde. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead Subject Coordination: Oversee ENGL 20022: Modernism and Avant Garde, including curriculum design, teaching delivery, and supervision of sessional tutors.

• Deliver Engaging Teaching: Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars that cater to a diverse student cohort, promoting scholarly inquiry and critical thinking.

• Contribute to Academic Leadership: Engage in service roles within the School or Faculty and participate in continuing professional development activities.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a passionate scholar of Modernism and Avant Garde literature, with a strong commitment to innovative teaching and research, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse student cohort.

You may also:

• Hold a PhD in English Literature or a closely related field.

• Have experience in teaching Modernist literature at university level.

• Demonstrate a track record of high-quality publications in your field.

• Possess excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse student cohorts.

• Show a commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment.

• Have experience in curriculum design and innovation.
