We are seeking a full-time Lecturer in Law at our Hamilton Campus. Preference may be given to applicants who have a research and teaching interest in one or more of the following areas: Torts, Business Law, Tikanga.
The role involves teaching relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses, actively contributing to the research culture of the School of Law, Politics, and Philosophy, and supervising student research.
A demonstrated record of effective high-quality teaching, innovative pedagogy and delivery methods at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of Law undergraduate and postgraduate modules.
Salary will be in the range of $87,500 to $104,322 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hilcrest Campus.

An LLB or JD degree or equivalent, and/or LLM with equivalent professional experience, is essential. A PhD completed or near to completion is strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in producing high quality research outputs internationally, along with the ability to undertake postgraduate supervision, is strongly preferred.
In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team.
