My name is Jimmy Sixmar, and I am the Head of Privacy & Corporate Affairs. As a leader, I am passionate about supporting the growth and success of each team member, empowering individuals to reach their full potential, and fostering a collaborative environment where we all thrive together.
Your role & influence as a Legal Counel
Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for advising on EU regulations and developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive legal AI and compliance framework to ensure effective tech and regulatory governance within Dustin.
Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of regulatory tech governance, ensuring that compliance and innovation align seamlessly. You'll work closely not only with your immediate team members but also with departments such as Business Development, E-commerce, Tech, Procurement, and HR to drive cohesive solutions.
Core activities:
- Investigate legal issues and provide expert guidance on EU regulations and AI to ensure alignment with evolving legal requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain a comprehensive legal framework for AI and privacy, ensuring proactive governance and adaptability.
- Promote compliance awareness by sharing knowledge, conducting training, and serving as a trusted advisor on complex legal and regulatory challenges.

For this role specific you can expect:
- You will receive €0.26 per kilometre travel allowance or a complete public transport compensation
- Home working allowance of €2,35 per work-at-home day, paid monthly

Additionally, it's important that:
- You have a bachelor's degree level of working and thinking, with a European law degree.
- You have experience working with EU regulations such as the AI Act, GDPR, and/or NIS Directive.
- You bring an understanding of and interest in technology related to legal compliance and data governance.
- You are able to effectively perform your work entirely in English.
