Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. This schedule can be consistant week to week. It will have a few day shifts and a few night shifts. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, preparing meals that delight our guests while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
