Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team/ Cafe The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a Cafe environment. As a Line Cook, you will play an important role in meal preparation and ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service.
- Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
- Proficient in meal preparation and cooking techniques within a restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Previous experience in the food industry or similar roles is preferred but not required.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen environment.
