Line Cook/Closer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is NECESSARY , along with a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
• Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
• Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or kitchen environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation are essential

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour
