The Senior Commercial Loan Processor will be responsible for processing and coordinating all aspects of Commercial, ensuring accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, and providing excellent customer service to borrowers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary information and documentation for loan requests
- Review loan applications and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of information
- Prepare loan packages and ensure that all required documentation is included
- Input loan data into loan processing system and maintain accurate loan files
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies, including SBA and bank regulations
- Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process
- Assist in monitoring loan portfolios and identifying potential credit issues
- Assist with loan closings and funding processes
- Assess loan applications for creditworthiness and compliance.
- Recommend loan terms based on risk analysis.
- Document underwriting decisions for review.
- Collaborate with loan term to ensure complete documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Associates Degree preferred or consummate experience.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Loan I/) mortgage lending and banking, with a strong understanding of commercial loan regualtions and processing in a multi-state lending environment.
- Knowledge of Commercial loan programs and guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements and tax returns
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software
Skills/Ability
- Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to assemble complete and accurate loan packages.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters throughout the loan process.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements and tax returns, with a good understanding of commercial and SBA loan regulations and processing.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Must be able to adapt well to a fast-paced and constantly changing business environment.
