Locksmith Shop Manager

Durham Regional Locksmiths is seeking a shop manager to supervise shop operations and schedule work for field technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phone and schedule service calls for techs using field software.
• Provide assistance in shop to customers.
• Pinning and repairing locks.
• Cutting keys.
• Perform key coding and rekeying services.
• Order materials and maintain inventory.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, and customer information and store register.
• Keep shop organized, prep components for upcoming jobs.
• Working hours 8:30 - 5:30.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ Years direct experience in managing a team of 5 - 10 trades people in a service / installation based industry. (Millwork, HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing etc)
• Experience in using software such as ServiceM8, Jobber, Housecall, Service Titan or similar.
• Knowledge of lock types, key systems, and security hardware.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Eager to expand Locksmith trade knowledge from others
• Reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
