About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our Napier-based forestry operation. You’ll be operating modern Kenworth trucks, fully equipped to get the job done safely and efficiently. The role primarily involves two log loads per day — one trip to Gisborne and one return trip back to Napier.

Status: Full-Time, Permanent Position
Specific Responsibilities
Complete two log loads per day (Napier- Gisborne)
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections
- Safely load and transport logs on sealed and unsealed roads
- Maintain vehicle condition and general equipment upkeep
- Communicate clearly and effectively via radio
Who we're after:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant, verifiable driving experience
- Clean Class 5 license
- Physically fit with a strong safety focus
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and professional

You must pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test and must be a citizen of New Zealand. You will also need to pass a pre-employment ACC & MOJ Criminal History Check.
