Logistics Accountant (Accounts Receivable)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Logistics Accountant (AR) to manage billing and collections related to transportation and logistics services. The role involves preparing and issuing invoices to clients based on completed deliveries and agreed rates, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely collections. The accountant will coordinate with operations and clients to resolve billing discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in logistics or supply chain
• Experience in billing, collections, and account reconciliation
• Familiarity with logistics billing (e.g., freight charges, delivery rates, surcharges) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for client coordination and collections
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: Php17,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
