Introduction:
About the Logistics Officer – Living Well

As a Logistics Officer within the CRCS Living Well Program, the incumbent has an important dual role of ensuring high-level coordination of rosters for care workers and scheduling of transport services for older people.

You will have a keen eye for detail, be customer focused, highly organised, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and able to negotiate and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will have a solid knowledge of HR, able to interpret industrial instruments, understand and manage work health and safety requirements as well as a solid knowledge of person centred practice to support the choices and preferences of individuals in the provision of their care and support.

This is a part time (15.2 hours per week) ongoing position based at Trevor Pearcy House, Bruce ACT or other sites as required for the role.

  • Rostering Care Workers to undertake care and support for participants utilising the TurnPoint software system
  • Scheduling transport services for participants utilising the TRIPS software system
  • Supporting payroll processes from rosters for care workers
  • Supporting participants to access CRCS Services
  • Completing all administrative requirements
  • Preparing information for reporting requirements
Selection Criteria for the role:
Essential: Qualification in Human Resources, or Aged Care or equivalent qualification or willingness to obtain
Desirable: Mental Health First Aid, Understanding Dementia
Ability to speak another language in addition to English is highly desirable
A basic knowledge of HR and ability to interpret industrial instruments would be advantageous
Previous rostering experience would be highly desirable
CRCS employees must hold a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration and have this with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
CRCS employees are required to undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or performing the inherent requirements of their position.
Current Driver’s Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured motor vehicle for work related purposes.
