Description:
As a Logistics Specialist at MUJI Retail (Australia), you will place a crucial role within the Merchandise, Inventory Control and Logistics department in contributing to the success of our logistical operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and liaise with relevant stakeholders, including our Parent Company, to ensure smooth and cost-efficient custom processes
  • Monitor external warehouse operation SOP, stock levels and external warehouse stock movements and provide necessary business forecast data to ensure the warehouse is efficiently processed
  • Create reporting tools to analyse data/business requirements and provide reports to management and 3PLs
  • Manage relationships with 3PL providers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate closely with stores, centre management and other departments to meet business needs
  • Provide logistics cost fo recasts to support business plan development and new store opening requirements
Efficiently manage warehouse operations for eCommerce including inbound, outbound, storage, cost control, etc.

Skills and Experiences:
  • Demonstratable logistics management experience with a current driver's license is essential
  • Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Business degree is highly desirable
  • Experience with fast moving consumer goods (retail) and/or online business supply chains is highly desirable
  • Intermediate Excel, MS Office suite, PC skills with an ability to use and learn various IT systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with a strong commercial and business acumen
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and effectively work both collaboratively and independently
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability, with an eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset
