Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including twisted pair cable, fiber optic, coax, and other low voltage cables.
- Build and manage cable pathways and telecom closets to ensure efficient system operations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems, conducting regular inspections to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, customers, and team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and updates to technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and as-builts.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of systems.
- Adhere to industry codes, standards, and regulations, staying informed on trends and advancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, protocols, and equipment.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and agility for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, NICET) are a plus.

Experience and License Requirements
- Ariel lift equipment experience
- Basic computer skills (optional)
- Cable installation experience
- Good communications skills both written & verbal
- Technician experience
- Telecommunication Installer experience
- Valid Driver's License
