What is this role about?

The LPG Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an LPG filling plant. This includes managing the cylinder filling process, ensuring strict safety and operational protocols are followed, and leading the team of operators and staff. The role involves monitoring filling volumes, pressure levels, and maintaining adherence to safety regulations. Additionally, the supervisor ensures proper inventory management, conducts regular safety audits, and coordinates with maintenance teams to keep equipment in optimal working condition.


What will YOU do?

  • Supervise daily LPG plant operations, including cylinder filling, storage, and safety systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures throughout the LPG filling process
  • Monitor and manage cylinder filling volumes and pressure levels to prevent overfilling and ensure proper filling.
  • Lead, train, and mentor plant operators and staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA)
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and make adjustments to optimize plant performance
  • Oversee cylinder inspection, leak testing, and certification to meet safety standards before distribution
  • Manage inventory of cylinders, spare parts, and filling materials to ensure adequate supply.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to improve plant safety.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule equipment maintenance and resolve technical issues.

What will YOU need?


  • Between 5-7 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in gas filling or similar operations
    • Knowledge of LPG safety standards and filling protocols
    • Ability to operate filling equipment and perform basic troubleshooting.
    • Strong attention to detail and safety.
    • Physical ability to handle and lift heavy LPG cylinders.
    • Comfortable with mechanical work and exposure to loud noise and potential hazards
