Lv Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated LV Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cork. and play a key role in the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and specify electrical systems for new and existing wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, upgrades, and expansions.

Prepare load schedules, tick sheets, control philosophy, system architecture, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, commissioning plans, and

equipment specifications.

Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and process engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall plant design.

Review electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting and system integration.

Perform cable sizing calculations.

Prepare and submit electrical submissions; review and respond to client queries.

Conduct site surveys to inspect existing equipment and electrical installations.

Source and order electrical equipment for projects.

Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical panels, motors, MCCs, VSDs, lighting, and instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

2–3 years’ experience in a similar electrical engineering role.

Strong commitment to safety in all tasks.

Excellent attention to detail.

Confident in LV electrical and control systems.

Good knowledge of instrumentation.

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related engineering field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
