About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Call Center Manager with a solar background to build, train, and lead our outbound solar calling team. This is a hands-on management role where you will create structure, optimize performance, and develop a high-quality appointment-setting operation.
U.S.-based candidates only (required).
Solar call center experience required.
Compensation Base Pay (W2):
- $20 per hour
- 40 hours/week
- Monthly Base: $3,200/month
Total Expected Monthly Compensation:
$8,000 – $16,000+ per month
(Base + bonuses + commissions)
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-performance solar call center team
- Hire, train, coach, and mentor outbound callers & appointment setters
- Develop scripts, workflows, KPIs, and performance tracking systems
- Oversee daily operations (calls, follow-ups, CRM usage, lead distribution)
- Work with sales leadership to optimize lead quality & conversion metrics
- Set weekly goals and ensure call volume + appointment targets are met
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management
- Maintain professionalism and consistent homeowner communication
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
- Must be U.S.-based
- Must have solar call center experience.
- Proven experience managing or leading a call center team
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Ability to create scripts, training programs, and performance KPIs
- Familiarity with CRM systems and outbound calling tools
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to hold teams accountable
- Organized, adaptable, and able to work independently
