Job Overview
The Maintenance Services and Small Projects Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities services by overseeing all maintenance activities. This position is responsible for managing a team of maintenance service personnel and sub-contractors and coordinating our small projects work at our client's locations. You will assist our Coordinator in implementing preventive maintenance programs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong construction knowledge and project management skills, with the ability to fabricate solutions as needed. This role requires a hands-on approach to facilities maintenance, (both larger and smaller facilities) and you have a strong understanding of construction.
Duties
- Supervise and manage the maintenance team to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
- You have strong computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word and a solid understanding of general computer skills.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for our customers in conjunction with our team.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of offices spaces and buildings, small machinery, and equipment.
- Oversee and participate in the smaller construction projects we perform.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in industrial maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong Construction knowledge for smaller construction projects.
- Proficient in using computer software for tracking work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to identify customer needs for repairs or improvements.
- Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
