The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the preventive and corrective (repairs) maintenance of operational equipment and production resources in the distribution center.
- Comply with the SERE rules regarding maintenance activities throughout the DC
- Identify and express to the Team Leader / Managers any risks regarding health and safety, including reporting all incidents and near misses
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to preventive maintenance plan
- Repair operational equipment in the event of a downtime, in line with the agreements made with the equipment supplier
- Manage the purchasing and stock management of the spare parts together with the Maintenance Engineer
- Actively train the warehouse operators in first-line maintenance activities
- Support in the maintenance administration and reporting of the KPIs
- Employee will comply with all quality, environmental, security and safety international standards, in line with business needs (i.e. ISO)
- Comply with all relevant work instructions and procedures (i.e. SPS)
- Keep work area clean and neat in conformity with 5S standards
- Pick up small “handy man” activities
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Vocational education (MBO) – Engineering / maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance of operational equipment
- Fluent spoken and written Dutch, English preferred
- Machinery directive (Machine Richtlijnen)
- Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
