Maintenance Technician

Specific Duties: Provide assistance to Maintenance Manager to ensure safe uninterrupted production

Responsibilities:

1. Complete required safety training

2. Provide maintenance support to Maintenance Manager

3. Ability to perform duties with little or no supervision, while paying attention to detail

4. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to process or quality systems through preventative maintenance

5. Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance on shop, equipment, machinery; verify and record solutions

6. Initiate, recommend and provide suggestions for improvement

7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Strong communication skills

2. Strong knowledge of various maintenance areas such as electrical, welding, plumbing, fabrication

3. Excellent problem solving ability

4. Strong attention to detail

5. Ability to maintain records

6. Ability to handle multiple tasks

7. Ability to work within and meet deadlines

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
