Maintenance Technician

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities and manufacturing processes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain and improve equipment, facilities, and systems. You will be instrumental in supporting a safe, efficient, and productive environment by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades with precision and enthusiasm. Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Repair or replace faulty components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to minimize downtime.
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automation systems and implementing control modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset history.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, plumbing repairs, HVAC servicing, and general building upkeep.
  • Supervise or collaborate with team members on complex repair projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC programming, and troubleshooting automation controls.
  • Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
  • Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to guide junior technicians effectively.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
