Maintenance Technician
Montebello, CA | $26/hr. | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $26 per hour
Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Saturdays: Mandatory, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join a 70+ year precision machining shop. You’ll handle mechanical troubleshooting, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Repair gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics/pneumatics
- Perform shaft alignment, bearing installs, precision mechanical work
- Lead overhauls, shutdowns, emergency repairs
- Support PMs and train junior techs
- Follow LOTO, confined space, and all safety protocols
Requirements
- 5+ years industrial mechanical maintenance
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Hydraulic/pneumatic experience
- Able to read mechanical drawings
- HS diploma or GED
