Maintenance Technician Iii

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Duties

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and voltmeters to assess equipment functionality.
• Analyze schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
• Perform low voltage electrical work as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Train junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety measures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of equipment start-up and project support
• Working knowledge of schematics, P&ID drawings, and ISA symbols & numbering.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment
• Requires electrical, mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply all relevant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures and other regulatory requirements.
• Attention to detail, safety, quality and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate a high level of personal motivation and initiative.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible with daily work assignment changes as well as a continuously improving work environment.
• Ability to make decisions within the scope of operating policies and procedures.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
