About the role:

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our team in Köping. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Renovation and Maintenance of Buildings and Facilities: Renovation of buildings and manufacturing facilities. Basic property maintenance. Work with ventilation and other building-related systems.
• Renovation and maintenance of Machinery and Equipment: Renovation and maintenance of machines, such as manufacturing machines and sewing and embroidery machines. Work with machine understanding, replacement of machine parts, welding (MIG/TIG), as well as repair and adjustment of pneumatic systems. Troubleshooting and repair of automated production lines (PLC), as well as collaboration with other departments in the development of new machines.
• Maintenance and installation of industrial equipment: Installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation of industrial equipment. Preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for managing spare parts inventory and ensuring necessary parts are available for quick repairs and maintenance.
• Electrical Work: Perform basic electrical tasks that do not require certification.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and participate in maintenance, repair, and installation work related to production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and solve problems in case of breakdowns or machine failures, especially in automated systems.

Skills and requirements:

• Drivers license
• Basic knowledge of English
• Solid knowledge of property and facility maintenance
• Carpentry skills
• Experience with welding, lathe, and milling
• Basic electrical skills
• Strong understanding of machinery and mechanical components
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in machines and systems
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems used in machinery
• Familiarity with PLC systems
• Electrical certification
• Experience in the renovation and maintenance of sewing and embroidery machines
