Audit and Governance

You will support the department in its audit and governance function to support the Hospital in audit compliance and governance. This includes:


  • Coordinate with external auditors, internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the audit and governance programme, including conduct internal validation checks on internal processes to support process improvements and uphold corporate governance
  • Plan and conduct staff training
  • Prepare and present reports to apprise management

Data Protection
You will also support, develop and implement data protection initiatives to ensure the Hospital's compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and organisational policies. This includes:


  • Formulate and review hospital data protection policies
  • Implement, monitor and track the hospital’s compliance to national data protection laws and MOH data protection policies
  • Work with internal stakeholders and provide guidance in managing data breach incidents in accordance to regulatory requirements
  • Conduct internal reviews/assessments on data management to identify potential data protection risks
  • Provide inputs and guidance to internal stakeholders on their data protection queries and data breach incidents
  • Plan, develop presentations and reports for various stakeholders for continual education and deliver staff training on data protection
  • Attend and represent hospital’s interest in data protection during MOH, cluster meetings
  • Provide updates and reports to apprise management
  • Keep abreast of changes in national data protection regulations, policies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate and work with internal stakeholders on data management and data sharing such as data requests
  • Serve as Secretariat in data management and security committee

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess at least 5 years of working experience, with prior experience in a supervisory role
  • Highly organised, independent, and meticulous
  • Good communication and strong interpersonal skills with pleasant disposition, able to engage and interact with people of all levels
  • Experience in policy formulation and audit compliance will be an advantage
