What you’ll do
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor or Assistant Manager to join our Business Advisory team in our Gold Coast office. As a manager, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio while continuing to develop your leadership capability:
Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality advisory and compliance outcomes
Take ownership of workflow, WIP, and budgets, ensuring jobs are delivered efficiently and profitably
Review financial statements and tax returns across a range of entity types
Mentor and coach seniors, supporting them in delegation, workflow, and development
Build strong client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their businesses
Contribute to identifying advisory opportunities and adding real commercial value
Support team performance, development conversations, and capability uplift
Play an active role in continuous improvement and innovation within the team
What you’ll bring
CA or CPA qualified
Proven experience in Business Advisory / Tax within a public practice environment preferred
Strong technical capability, with confidence reviewing work and guiding others
A genuine interest in developing into a trusted business advisor and people leader
Experience mentoring or informally leading team members
Strong commercial thinking and ability to understand client needs beyond compliance
Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for clients
