Manager - Finance

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making for the assigned portfolio.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management for the assigned portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide guidance, oversight, and support to overseas teams and outsourced service providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly accounts.
• Collaborate with HQ Finance on accounts payable and receivable matters, including credit control, payments, and procurement procedures.
• Oversee treasury operations, including loan drawdowns, rollovers, compliance with financial covenants and related reporting.
• Partner with Property Management teams to support financial operations related to property management activities.
• Manage GST, corporate tax, and other statutory reporting matters, including liaising with tax agents and relevant authorities.
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or department head.

Job Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and GST reporting.
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
• Hands-on and committed work ethic.
• Prior experience in the Real Estate sector or with a developer managing commercial and/or hospitality portfolios
• Candidates with audit experience in the Real Estate industry will also be considered
