SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt is a senior professional within Integra’s Global Supply Chain & Operations organization, responsible for leading high-impact continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational stability across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director, Operational Excellence, this role leads cross-functional improvement efforts, applies Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and enabling functions to deliver measurable and sustainable business results. This role is designed for experienced continuous improvement professionals and does not require an engineering background. The Manager, LSS Black Belt operates as an internal consultant and change leader, supporting the deployment of Daily Management Systems, coaching teams and leaders, and reinforcing a culture of operational excellence within a regulated life sciences environment.

May provide functional leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Green Belts, project teams, and site leaders
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead complex, cross-functional Lean Six Sigma initiatives delivering validated improvements across multiple functions or sites.
- Develop project charters, align stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure sustainability of implemented solutions.
- Apply structured problem-solving and data analysis to identify root causes, systemic waste, and performance gaps.
Lean Deployment, Daily Management & CI Methodologies
- Support deployment and maturation of Daily Management Systems and tiered accountability across global operations.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and improvement workshops.
- Coach leaders on KPI definition, visual management, escalation, and standard work.
Coaching & Capability Building
- Coach and mentor Green Belts, process owners, and functional leaders on Lean Six Sigma tools and behaviors.
- Support delivery of CI training and certification programs.
- Model continuous improvement mindset and change leadership behaviors.
Operational Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to align improvement efforts with enterprise priorities.
- Collaborate with Finance to validate benefits and track realization.
- Translate analytical insights into clear business recommendations for leaders.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Develop dashboards, control plans, and performance monitoring systems to sustain results.
- Present concise updates to leadership, focusing on business impact, risk, and decisions required.
REQUIRED SKILLS & MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, or related discipline required.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles.
- Demonstrated success leading Lean Six Sigma projects with cross-functional impact.
- Experience in regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar) preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent demonstrated capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed environment.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and executive presence.
This role requires regular use of tools and equipment relevant to the work environment. Examples include:
- General office equipment: Computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and telephone communication systems.
- Additional tools may vary depending on the specific function (e.g., manufacturing, field service, or laboratory work) and will be defined in role-specific documentation.
Salary Pay Range:
$95,000.00 - $130,000.00 USD Salary
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
