About the Opportunity

As the Manager Procurement and Fleet, you’ll provide strategic leadership across procurement, contract management, vendor governance and fleet operations. You’ll partner with leaders to improve procurement capability, strengthen compliance, and ensure value‑for‑money outcomes aligned with organisational goals.

You'll oversee the procurement lifecycle, contract negotiation and performance management, ensuring supplier accountability and high‑quality service delivery. You’ll manage fleet operations, insurance programs and commercial arrangements, identifying opportunities to optimise cost, efficiency and sustainability. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will uplift systems, practices and team capability to enhance organisational performance and support long‑term success.

About You

You bring strong commercial acumen and deep expertise in strategic procurement, contract management and vendor performance. You navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence, applying sound judgement to ensure ethical, compliant and value‑driven outcomes.

You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity and professionalism, and provide practical guidance that supports informed decision‑making across the business. You thrive in environments that require innovation, continuous improvement and effective problem‑solving. As a capable leader, you develop high‑performing teams and foster accountability, collaboration and a culture of learning.

You have demonstrated experience across the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract performance management, supported by strong probity awareness. You bring a solid understanding of procurement governance, risk management and compliance, and the analytical capability to deliver value‑for‑money outcomes in complex operating environments.

Essential

  • National Police Clearance
  • Driver’s Licence

Desirable

  • Qualification in Procurement, Business Management, Leadership or similar (CIPS highly regarded).
  • Experience with vendor management systems (e.g., Rapid Global) and procurement technologies.
  • Experience managing fleet operations, insurance programs or similar operational portfolios.
