Please note: This is not a Remote role and will require the incumbent to be based in Manila, Philippines where the person is hired and work a hybrid schedule (currently at least twice a week in office reporting). This is an Individual Contributor role.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as Manager, Record to Report/ Legal Entity Controller. In this pivotal role, you will handle the local statutory compliance of the Philippines, Singapore Holding Companies and consolidated Hong Kong entity. Liaise directly with Ernst & Young auditors, tax teams and external corporate secretariate partners and the Coca-Cola corporate tax, financial statement COE on the completion of audit, preparation of financial statements, direct and indirect taxes compliance with government agencies and other reportorial submissions such as Environmental, Social and Governance.
What You’ll Do for Us
Prepares direct tax entry journals, monitors tax position of the entities
Reviews indirect tax returns and reconciliations (VAT, Withholding tax, final taxes and the like)
Reviews account reconciliation and resolve identified issues
Review and discuss with the Record to Report (RTR) team the appropriateness of all Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss monthly and annual completion
Prepares and ensures timely submission of year-end forms
Engages, coordinates and collaborates with other process teams, legal entity controller teams, locations and Controller’s Group for issues resolutions
Liaise directly with Ernst & Young auditors, tax advisory teams, Corporate Secretariat, and Coca-Cola Tax Department, Board of Directors, FS COE and Indirect Tax COEs on the completion of audit, preparation and filing of financial statements to government agency, and other statutory requirements
Provides data to Internal Auditors as required
Assists the Business Unit management in obtaining reports necessary to manage the financial performance of the business as needed
Liaise with GFO Treasury, AP and pool services team to ensure all information required is being provided timely.
Handle other legacy programs or projects as required such as program administration of the Philippine corporate card
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
CPA strongly preferred
Minimum of 4-5 years’ relevant experience in General Accounting and Reporting, Tax preparations and review or public accountancy
Experience in navigating or operating in common ERP systems, such as SAP and or any ERP systems.

Judging and Decision Making:
Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely trial balance, supplemental schedules, tax returns and narratives submission.
Handles more complex locations (e.g. with underlying tax or legal justifications) and complex transactions (e.g. requires extensive information).
Collaboration with senior leaders such as the Board of Directors, Corporate Tax, Corporate Secretaries and able to deliver the requirements.
