Marketing Assistant

Job Overview:

Empire Works is looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with the founder to manage and grow our social media presence across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiao Hong Shu. From capturing project progress to editing videos and creating content — you’ll help bring our renovation work to life online.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu)
• Take photos and short videos of renovation sites, works-in-progress, and completed projects
• Edit photos and videos using apps or editing software for professional-quality posts
• Write engaging captions and assist in content writing for posts, stories, and reels
• Work with the team to brainstorm content ideas and campaigns
• Track engagement and help improve reach and visibility of social media accounts
• Assist in managing comments, inquiries, and basic page engagement

Requirements:

• Familiar with social media trends and content formats (especially TikTok and Reels)
• Comfortable with photography and video shooting on mobile or basic camera gear
• Skilled in video and photo editing apps like CapCut, VN, Canva, InShot, etc.
• Creative mindset with a good eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Interest in interior design, home décor, or renovations is a plus
• Basic Mandarin or Chinese reading ability is a bonus (for Xiao Hong Shu)
