Everest People are delighted to partner with 30 Seconds as they continue to grow their team. We’re looking for a hands-on, curious Marketing Assistant who enjoys understanding how products work, supporting consumers, and taking genuine ownership of their role within the Marketing team.

About the role

As Marketing Assistant, you’ll have sole responsibility for this role and be trusted to run it end-to-end from Matamata. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Growth (ANZ), and Social Media and Content Manager alongside internal teams across Product Development and Operations, you’ll be a key link between products, consumers, and the wider business.

What you’ll be doing

• Being a key point of contact for consumers, customers, and distributors
• Handling product queries and complaints with confident, knowledgeable support
• Developing a strong understanding of the 30 Seconds product range and how it performs
• Supporting product innovation, testing, and launches across New Zealand and Australia
• Assisting with marketing campaigns through coordination and support (this role does not include digital or social media management, but you will support TV, Radio and EDM’s)
• Gathering insights from consumers and the market to help improve products and communication
• Measuring and reporting on marketing and product initiatives
• Providing general business support and confidently managing day-to-day priorities

What 30 Seconds is looking for

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar.
• 2+ years’ experience in marketing, product, and a customer-focused role
• A genuine interest in products and how they work
• Confidence dealing directly with consumers and distributors
• A proactive mindset with initiative and curiosity
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Experience in hardware retail or consumer goods (helpful, but not essential)
• Willingness to travel occasionally
